Housing Beyond Housing ✣ Book ⊹ Fall 2024

Housing Beyond Housing explores the failures of top-down planning, the loss of communal spaces, and housing inequality, while highlighting alternative approaches that prioritize people over profit. By combining content from three books on housing and urban design (Housing By People by John F.C. Turner, The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs, and Housing the Nation by  by Alexander Gorlin and Victoria Newhouse), I created a single, cohesive narrative that examines alternative approaches to city planning.
